Enjoying the RAY-MUNDO summer excursion to the continent will be:

MUNGO'S HI-FI SOUND:

Mungo's Hi -Fi is a reggae/ dub system whose monthly residency at the 300 capacity Woodside Social Club, Glasgow has become increasingly popular and successful over the last two years. Mungo's selectors play roots, dancehall, ragga and ska over a 5k sound system inspiring dance, chat and smiles. The group is always keen to work with other musicians and has played host to Vibronics (Leicester), Brother Culture (London), Murrayman (Birmingham), Ras Charmer (Jamaica), Magga (Glasgow) and Jah Children (Switzerland).

The group has a shared love of good music and good food and makes a firm commitment to provide cheap, affordable parties in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Studio sessions are another vital element of the group's work. The album 'Mungo's Hi-Fi Meets Brother Culture' recently released on DUBHEAD establishes the sound system as an exciting addition to the UK dub scene.

RAYMOND'S RENEWABLES:

This sound system runs on 12volt batteries which can be recharged in a variety of energy friendly ways; solar panels, wind turbines or bicycles can be used to power the sounds of the various djs that grace Raymond's decks. An open stage policy is at the forefront of the Raymond philosophy and budding djs are encouraged to make their debut renewable style. An element of the ridiculous is always welcomed by Raymond's Renewables, fancy dress parties have been some of Raymond's favourite gigs. Appearances at the Green Gathering, Glasgow Mayday celebrations and numerous free parties throughout Scotland have made Raymond's Renewables a popular and well loved sound system.

www.ray-mundo.co.uk is currently being built to become the cyber-home of the 12 Volts party machine.

James/ Rephlex, DJ Hell, Patrick Pulsinger alongside lesser known local talent. The RAY-MUNDO party is a collaboration of different skills and can therefore be tailored to suit your individual party needs. If required the RAY-MUNDO collective is happy to provide a themed party featuring either RAY-MUNDO'S HOSPITAL or RAY-MUNDO'S TIME MACHINE.

RAY-MUNDO'S HOSPITAL is a hospital with a difference; sound therapy, eye stimulation, hair surgery and liquid medications are prescribed by the fully costumed RAY-MUNDO'S staff. RAY-MUNDO travel in an ambulance and a dental truck, both vehicles and a choice of marquees can be incorporated into the hospital setting. Stretchers are supplied to those who have partied too hard to walk any longer and a leopard print dentist's chair provides the perfect place for a quick snooze between treatments.

RAY-MUNDO'S TIME MACHINE will transport you back in history to a bygone era when men were charming and women really knew what glamour meant. The party is set in the Roaring Twenties, an age where carefree young things sip at their cocktails in the twilight and then dance to jazz until the sun rises. Expect to see outrageous flappers in all their tasseled finery and exquisitely dressed young men twitching their pencil moustaches as you dance under the chandeliers.

Watch this space as the summer unfolds taking those still pale but costumed bodies through Holland, Switzerland, France, Spain and Portugal to appear at street theatre festivals such as Aurillac and Tarrega as well Robodock, Amsterdam's robotic performance extravaganza, via a party space near you!
